The DISTALOCK™ FEMORAL IM NAIL AND DRILL SYSTEM consists of a comprehensive set of intramedullary nail implants and instruments, combined with a disposable DISTALOCK™ DRILL.  THE SYSTEM is designed to improve productivity by facilitating faster and more accurate placement of distal locking screws while reducing the amount of intra-operative x-ray required with most placement techniques.  As a result, procedure time, cost, and radiation exposure for the orthopedic surgeon, the patient, and the operating room staff may be reduced.
